Camera does not eject photo

Hope someone can help with this. Just received my packages of PX100 Push to use with our 2000 Land Camera (needs SX-70 film so should work).

It ejected the film cover properly but then when we take a picture, nothing comes out. It does make the sound but no picture. Since it ejected the film cover I presume the battery of the pack is ok as well as the mechanics in the camera, right?

Anybody?
